A 4x4 cosworth uses a bypass stat housing and needs the correct stat

im baffled how the rad is now getting hot just from a flush ?

if it was blocked solid which it must of been to be stone cold I cant see a flush clearing it ?
and why did you have a misfire ?

If the Cossie is not on new loom and management that I would consider the misfire to be a red herring and probably unrelated...based on my Cossie before I had it sorted....when don't they misfire?

Just sounded like a big airlock and a bit of shit In the rad. Everytime we do a head gasket job or something coolant related at work we sometimes get these probs bleeding them up. Always got to bleed the system after any coolant related job!
