its will kill a standard cossie, fooking wall of torque from 2000 rpm to 5500. but a good stage 1 should see it off.

perhaps he is quoting from a general dyno printout supplied from the engine supplier
if you went to julian godfrey and said build me a 400bhp engine, would you not say "my engine is 400bhp" ????????

like most people put greens ,a 3bar, a t34 turn up the boost and then say i have a 300bhp cossie
although knowing those engines (mate had one in a 4i) i wouldn't say he is that far off

and he is also right , he would trounce a std cossie

why are you set on this guy being a b/shitter???

because as far as i can see, he hasn't said anything that sounds like crap

pugo , im not set on this guy being a bullshitter if its got a genuine 310lb torque, it was the 210 brake in a much heavier car than a cossie that got me doubting the cossie killer bit.power to weight ratio an all that, may well be if its got that much torque.

sorry strutbrace but i think you'll find he's right

that SHOULD beat a standard cossie any day of the week.

youre missing the point that a cossie has 200bhp @ about 6000rpm, but at 3k? 4k? 5?
nowhere near that...

whereas a 3.7 will have good useable power all that way thru the midrange. just rememebr that PEAK bhp dont mean much... its only a measurement of max power, not overall power

doubt it'd fair too well against a stg1 car mind...

I raced an Ultimax 3.7 XR4x4 in my stg1 small turbo EsCos and the XR out accelerated me NP. They are damn rapid. There is a twin turbo Ultimax XR4i in Nottingham that has been dynoed at 450bhp/420ftlb. Its one of the fastest point to point cars I have ever been in.
