i think some folks haven't yet figured out that i was being sarcastic, if you find something, that no one seems to own, what are you going to do?

say it was a bag of fivers? would you pocket it or would you hand it in to the police?

Was it the ex Redline writer who found the S2000?

Its either a bait or a pool car.

If the latter its probs got more fluids on seats than in sump.

I'm surprised its sat that long, round here paddy would have hiab'd that b4 you'd pulled key out.

OP id leave it well alone fella.....

Talking Abandoned car

Fuck me if you were allowed to just help yourself to old vehicles found in barns there'd be a lot of farmers missing their tractors.
I would have thought the most common sense way to get an answer to the OP's question would have been for him to ring the DVLA in the first place rather than believe 30 odd different suggestions on a forum.
Agree with you on this , surely in this day and age it must be possible to find out from the DVLA who the last registered owner was or still is? If the DVLA say it no longer belongs to anyone then the local council will take it away to be crushed. If that is the case then I cannot see any reason why it cant be taken away, saving the council the time, expense and trouble to pick it up.
