I think it deserves to be 'preserved' because of what it is - it's made it this far so should be kept in the same way.

That doesn't mean I think it's worth £21k though.

I don't think it's dear considering the condition, mileage and age, but I do think you'd really want a Transit of that age to even consider paying that amount.

I think around £10k is a more realistic price, Its only because of the low milleage someone might see it as collectable, Realistically whos going to pay money like that for a run of the mill van and keep it preserved.
That said, on the other hand I also agree with Mr S1,

It will go to a collector to whom £21k is small change, although I think it's price a little cheekily and there would be plenty of room for negotiation. It will fetch strong money though because even though there may only be one person out there who wants it, that one person knows he's unlikely to ever get the opportunity to buy again.

For 21k you could get a cossie,focus rs,focus st,fiesta st, capri 280, mk1&2 escorts,rs turbo, xr2,xr3,xr4. So why buy a old transit
