Potential air leak issue ?
Guys, wonder if anyone can shed any light.
Got a C-max 1800 TDCi, and over the last day or so I’ve noticed a forced induction noise which I’ve never heard before, like you get with a K&N on an RS. Evidently an air leak of some kind, car isn’t pulling quite as well and is a little bit hesitant. I’ve had the undertray off and can’t see anything obvious, any ideas or anything simple I can look at ?
Cheers !

It sounds like a boost leak mate. Best way to find them is get someone in the car to rev it while you poke about in the engine. You will find the leak easy that way because the turbo needs to be spinning to make boost and then you will hear where the noise is coming from. They tend to split a pipe at the top left corner ( short elbow pipe ) and it will be underneath so put your hand around the pipe and you will feel the pressure coming out.
