glow plug light and white smoke
hello people, first time I have used this and hope somebody could help point me in right direction.
I have a 2002 ford mondeo deisel 2L estate and yesterday afternoon i was driving home and suddenly lost power and glow plug light started flashing i got bk in what i presume was limp mode, i left my car for a few hours then tried it and it struggled to start and when it did it run really rough and loads of white smoke which iv been told by AA man that it is un burnt fuel, he checked wiring cam sensor and for bad earth and plugged it in to his computer but could not get a live reading for some unknown reason, he says it reconises the car but car wont talk back, he said it was verry rare with ford. IN the end he says it could be faulty injector or the ecu telling injector to put too much fuel in but caint pin point without a live reading, just wondering if there is anything that he has missed that i can check myself before i start spending money
Thanks Nik
