Default Cossie headlights

Can someone tell me how to get the most clear headlights glasses for a saph cos?

I've seen different glasses at various sierra's from 1987-1993, one has got more ribbles than other, particular in the part near the grill.

At this time I have two different types headlights (not exactly the same glasses) in my cossie, I think because of an accident it has been involved in.

I don't know if there's a special part number at Ford to get the clearest glasses for the headlights, it gives the car so a new look, hope someone can help me. (pictures are welcome).

I'm guessing... but are the lights off basic sierras just a single reflector whereas higher spec ones (Ghia's cossies etc.) have a spotlight built into the inside edge?

The lights are shit enough on Sierras as it is - you wanna make them worse?

the designs on some of them are different.

One of my headlight glasses is slightly different to the other but not really noticable unless u look.(thanx to a stone thrown up by a hooge truck)

If u go to a scrappy u can prob get a pair for around a tenner. If id have noticed there was a difference at the time id just have replaced em both, its not a hard job

Glad someone else also discovered these minor differences between some headlights!

My cossie has 2 Carrello headlights on her, but they are different from eachother, one glass is clearer with lesser pattern shape than the other. That's why I want to know how to get 2 of those clearer ones.

Maybe someone of the concour boys knows the answer?

Cheers, YBJ

ps: tomorrow will I try to make some pictures of the headlights so I can show you the differences.

Here is a picture taken from the cos. As you can see, especially the inside parts near the grill are different.

The left headlight says "Carello 800" and the headlight at the right says "Carello 799". Don't know if the tell the difference for headlight left/right or another type.

Hope someone can help me.

Cheers, YBJ
