Default Calliper question, AP etc...

Is it true that compbrake are just restamped AP's?

As I really cant see a difference between callipers I have here other than the names?

If true, why are people willing to pay over the odds for the AP stamp?

Kev.

It wouldnt be hard these days for other companies to simply copy AP parts, or any other brand.

Machining such things is easy, and copying other peoples parts is even easier.

The old AP5200 is being sold to many other brands now, add your name to them and they are yours.
