Depends if they've been lightened and balanced as a rotating assembly, I guess. Have you asked the company who did the work?

like bill said,, if you have paid for a dynamic balance dotn worry

but if they have static balnced your parts,, i would be taking them back

Well, from my understanding of the subject, there's lightening and balancing individual components* and the same again as a reciprocating mass (i.e. the whole lot is balanced in one go).

*but that doesn't necessarily mean everything will be 'balanced' once all together as a rotating mass.

Same is true for turbos for example, I think the terms are dynamic and static balancing I mean, if you have an uprated clutch fitted, and thus have the flywheel machined, is that enough to throw the whole lot out of balance?

Also, 1.223 and 1.233 aren't that 'far apart' and *may* be within the correct tolerances for balancing those items??

But I'm no expert, so hopefully my comments will provoke more discussion.

Billabong, your very help full
Thanks , but that's what the community spirit is all about

EDITED: to add - cheers for your input Gareth, did it really take me that long to compose this reply? It now looks like I just regurgitated your post, lol - I guess my terminology wasn't too far off then if you agree
