Hi lads I'v got a jag x type and I'm over the moon with the car the car only cost me £1,100 for a V6 2.5 AWD I'v had to do some small jobs on the car witch have been cheap to sort out but it turns out the o/s/r shock has had it so I'v been looking at sorting some new ones for the car but the cheapest I'v seen is about £70 each :-( and for the mondeo it's about £50 for the pair can any one tell me if the mondeo ones will fit and witch ones . I think they will fit cause im almost certain it just the same suspension. Could you not got to your local motor factor and see if the mondys are the same as the jag.

 

find someone who stocks them both and ask for them to bring them both out and have a good look

i'm not sure they do fit but i may be wrong

jag x type are more like mondeo estate rear shocks, the x type has a telescopic damper, he monedeo saloon and hatch has a strut with the spring together.

 

Give euro parts in brum a ring.They will tell you if they are the same.
You just need the reg number of your jag and of a mondeo.Look on ebay for a mondeo reg number if theres none in your street.
