Hi Guys, I just want to replace my original steering lock with another car model since as you may know it's cheap and can get unlocked easily by thief so I wish to replace the existing one with another car model preferable ford of course. Does someone know which car model matches? It doesn't need to fit 100% but maybe has the closest fitments? Thanks

 

It doesn't need to lock suddenly when you're driving either.

You'd be better off / safer getting a complete modern steering column with a decent lock.

There aren't many locks that can't be easilly defeated by a short scaffold pole.

 

Yes that is also true! A Ford Fiesta MK3 is closest one I can find but still requires a lot of work to fit it :/

 

have you thought about getting a gear lock like the barrier ones instead? they are thatchem approved and can be used to lock the car in neutral or reverse! They are complete Bas***ds to get around as they are welded into the chassis! and you cant really see them much!
