Default Cossie Dipsticks

Never having put a 4x4 or 2wd dipstick or dipstick tube side by side - do they read the same?
If I convert a 4x4 200 block to 2wd sump where abouts is the 'correct' oil level on the dipstick if I retain the original 4x4 one? Are they miles out or do you have to add + 5mm say?
Cheers.

No they don't, use the corresponding dipstick and tube for the sump you're using. I have a 2wd sump but 4x4 dipstick and tube and had to re mark the stick to read correctly.
