What is an Amal Valve?
What is an amal valve and what is its job? My cossie runs perfect without one. Is it actually a neccessary part or is it like the humans appendix?

its a boost control valve made by a company called amal based in sweden

Do you have a bleed valve fitted ?
I know when mine packed it resulted in boost drop from 22-12psi standard boost pressure I think so you must have something controlling that.
I would prefer the amal valve fitted tbh.
