Default rs direct car dealer in bristol

does anyone have any experience with this dealer good or bad ?

ive never bought a car from a dealer, how does it stand if a car develops a problem within say a week of buying it ?

within a week then take it back, all depends on the car value to be honest, a grand snotter wouldnt be expected to last for years and years, if its a 20k focus RS then i would expect a minimum of 6 months warranty and for wear and tear items (clutch etc) for the same period, the onus is on the dealer to prove the faults weren't pre-existing

You quickly find out how good their aftercare service is..or not!

It's not like you're local to Bristol either..

A lot of used car warranties are very limited to what they cover too..

Seem to be spot on with what I've seen on Facebook and have repeat buyers from thier stock.

There will always be a bad story or experience somewhere though but if it was my money I'd be happy enough to buy from them.

Cheaper than buying standard and doing the work after though.

That thing must be mental at what was it? 750 odd?

Saves you messing about as well with it already done.

theres a few im interested in, a mega spec one at £60k but its a step to far I think and price is firm so jury still out atm.

im likeing the look of Litchfield tuned cars they even offer a warranty so are willing to stand by there work.

ideally I want a Litchfield stage 4.5 or stage 5 at 700 - 750 hp, and 600 - 650 lb/ft, with basic gearbox mods so its hopefully reliable, if I can get one with a 12 month Litchfield warranty then all the better. if the red car had a Litchfield 12 month warranty in the £47999 id buy it tomorrow, I have asked but rs direct cant do it

wherever I buy one from, when I walk in the door to buy a £50k car I guarantee they will be thinking (how the hell can that tramp afford a gtr) he cant even afford decent clothes fpmsl

Why don't you speak you litchfield and wait for one to come in and buy. Or have them carry out the work for the warrenty?

Reading thier website the litchfield warrenty is transferable as well. See if that GTR at RS Direct still has cover.

ive done all that mate, ive told rs direct if they can get a Litchfield 12 month warranty on it I will pay full asking price, they have said they cant as there a dealer ?

I could buy it and take it to Litchfield but if there is anything wrong on inspection it will need to be repaired at my cost and only then will the comprehensive 12 month warranty start. its a shame as I have £48k and im willing to spend it but I want a warranty with it for that money.

For spending that money I'd want a warrenty as well.

Not like it's a cheap car to buy or fix.

Hopefully you get what you're after.
