Default Using Fiat P8 ECUs?

Can Fiat 16v Coupé P8 ECU's with the code IAW 4Q4 be used in place of IAW 048/P8 Cosworth ECU's.
I think the 4Q4 is the non turbo and the 4WF the turbo.
I have a Pectal P8 baby board to go in it and would need a new chip anyway. The loom would be a brand new job if the pin outs aren't quite the same.

I'm not sure I have a p8 from the 16v turbo. I think we need all the sensors that go with it to make it work not 100% on this but I'm sure it can be used

The sensors are the same, I thought they were one of the same, but if there are two ECU variations then you obviously need the correct one, along with your software, of course.

I've found the pin out details for the 4WF Fiat Turbo ECU and they are practically the same as the Ford one and could be changed quite easily. However, I can't find any data on the 4Q4 Fiat non turbo ecu.

Well, according to that website, all P8 ECU's have the same pin outs then manufacturers used to the Aux outputs to their own discretion. All P8 ECU hardware should be the same then, whether it be off a turbo model or not. It's just the chip and loom which would be different, neither of which would be used anyway.

That is what I would have thought.

you cant use P8 from fiat or lancia....

wiring is same but...there are differences in PCB..

stripped PCB is same..but there are differences...

fiat has differend impedance injectors and fiat has hall sensor on CAM...

cosworth has VE sensor.
