Spent over four hours last night travelling to look at a car to view it do all the necessary and do a deal on the car with the guy. Offer to leave a deposit and he says no it's fine we will sort it out Saturday when I collect it. Shake hands and ask him to arrange for tax to be out on the car

Then sitting at home tonight he texts me that he has been speaking with the mrs and isn't going to sell it anymore. OVER a text!!!! Be a man and at least have the guys to speak to me!

Tried calling and can't even give a valid answer as to why he wants to keep it. Not to mention I've arranged insurance and paid for it today to start as of Saturday so now losing money on that.

Utter wankers shouldn't advertise there cars if they aren't serious

I'd be raging too mate, that's not on. There seems to be no such thing as common courtesy anymore.

I'd be asking him for some compensation for the time and money he's cost you, but he's already demonstrated that he's a dick so wouldn't hold my breath.

I had the money for a deposit and offered it three times bit he said don't worry about it. Seemed a trust worthy guy on the day as was very open about the car. Unfortunately I couldn't get a lift there otherwise I would have taken it there and then

Why advertise it in the 1st place if your not 100% sure you want to sell and then let someone waste so much of there time going to look just to change your mind. Really boils my piss shit like this.
