Hi all i am currently running a Capri trike It started running poor and i got a second hand twin choke starts and ticks over fine but as revs are increased it splutters and dies any suggestions

Hi folks its a 1600xflow and four speed box escort axle has twin choke Weber was running great drove it for two months never missed a beat till this starts and runs but as soon as you throttle hard just dies tryed replace carb ,new fuel fillter new pickup and sender points plugs cap ect but just wont play game waiting on s.h coil to be fitted .

could be an air leak somewhere.

try spraying carb cleaner onto the vac pipes with the engine running and if the engine note changes then you've found your leak.
