Default Zetec help

Can anyone give me a little bit of advice?just bought a ford ka for a track project looking at putting a zetec in it and my question is if i go 2.0 zetec what year mondeos are best to get one from does the engine change the newer the car gets?any help is great

Mk1 with the black top 2.0 is the best

Cheers mate cant decide between 2.0 and 1.8 zetec.

Might aswell go 2litre if your spending the time converting it.

That was my thinking but the 1.8 zetec fits on the gear box and drive shafts fit etc.these are all things im thinking about!been driving 10 years now and this is the 1st attempt at engine conversion

A 2 litre will fit the ka box, you would want a 1.8 flywheel and clutch.

Thanks alot mate any ideas whats best to do with the starter motor as i have read you have problems with the starter motor location with the 2 litre
