ah that gt500 is looooovely

the r35 isn't my dream car with its looks not in the slightest, my all round favourite car to date is a lamborgini aventador but the cost makes it made of unobtainium lol
imagine the cost for one tuned to 900 hp, I shudder to think

but everything underneath the shell of the r35 is just about perfect and at reasonable cost, I guess I should of said my dream car for under £70k price range that can do what id expect of it lol

that's the thing with the r34 I just cant justify the cost of the shell, my r32 in the lockup is 450 hp new/rebuilt engine, turbos, clutch, ecu and gearbox and it owes me about £4500, its not mint but its not a rot box either !

and my r33 is 710 hp and owes me about £17500, not mint but it is very tidy imo and is basically a os giken, trust, grex, volk, apexi, hks shopping list of parts everywhere, im sure an identical spec/condition r34 would be about £35k !

both those cars are still worth more than they have cost me in parts, im gonna have a look and work out roughly what the r35 is worth in parts.

Looks wise for me its - R34 > C10 > R32 > GTR (35) > R31 > R30 > R33

Dont like the fatness of the front of a 33 and then the arse looks skinny. 32 and 34 are the complete opposite. Im talking stock cars here. Not Veilside or Nismo kitted stuff.

And yeah absolutely love the old C10s. Stunning when running big arch extensions. But lovely as standard too.

Just couldnt bring myself to buy another Jap heap A GC8 Impreza WRX Import was enough for me

For me the KPGC10 stands head and shoulders above the newer stuff in terms of looks, but I'd have a 32 in a heart beat.

I also have a soft spot for an R31, if you can find one!

Supply and demand. Why is an RS500 £50k+ when you can buy a new focus rs500 for less!

A lot of people will also see it as the last proper Skyline with the RB26 engine etc, bit like why the 993 911 is far more valuable than a 996 in relative terms.

My dream car has always been my dream car cause I know if I worked hard enough and wasnt in the middle trying to sell my house I could afford one.

Never ever get your dream car.

I had two cars at "obtainable" money in my mind, from when i was a young teenager - an R5 GTT and an Escos.

I have had 2 R5 GTTs (one being a road car that broke my heart and the other a Raider project) and i never got round to buying an escos - as when it cane to the crunch, i just couldnt justify giving £10k plus for an Escort. I have also been told by a few, that they drive shite.

So maybe its been for the best, that i didnt get one and be bitterly disappointed, and just have them as one of them dream cars that i know i can never have!! But just nice to perve over lol

Indeed, and the Datsun would piss over the aforementioned!

I wondered how long it was till someone said something like this.

Ive got more chance of owning a escos than a posh beetle or a lambo.

I'd put an escort cos on top of the "obtainable dream cars" list. As for outright dream cars, for me McLaren F1 (about £2million), Jag XJ220 (£220k) and Ferrari F40 (£500k).
