just about the perfect car I aspire to own this is
http://jm-imports.co.uk/index.php/20...tanium-colour/
I cant comfortably afford it in cash so I wont be buying it but I sure wish I could, proper road car and 0 - 60 mph 2.6 seconds, 0 - 100 mph 5.3 seconds and 30 - 130 mph should be in the 6s bracket
and can poodle to the shop in style
what a machine

Holy crap what a machine!!
Doesn't it suck when a car you really want comes up for just a little more than what you can afford, if it were 10k out of budget that's not really a problem, but its so annoying when its just out of budget!

Well, I think you'd struggle to buy a GTR and give it that sort of performance for anywhere near 65k so I see it as bit of a bargain, although a 997 turbo is prettier.

I hear you on the 997 they are lovely cars, that gtr is actually available for £62k maybe £60k at a push and I don't think theres anything else available in the price bracket that could touch it as an all round everyday car that's practical ish and making 850hp on pump fuel.
its expensive for a Nissan but I cant imagine much to better it for the money.

100 is enough to kill ya mate if handled incorrectly
the point is it can easily be a mundane 500 hp street car, simple flick of the map switch and its a 950 hp monster.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Good old Jurgen, tempting you with his cars. This place is literally a stones throw from my front door, which is nice. He recently had my mates 955bhp Mk4 Supra stored there (The Kraken), until it was sold down south.
Still personally think the R33 is the best looking of the GTR's.

I could scrape it up but I cant comfortably afford it and wont buy one until I can, I wont subsidise my hobbies with company money.
the only problem is I know for a fact that car with be a1 and as described ryan g is as straight as they come, I just hope I can can find another when the time comes, its the gearbox that I love the most about them and the fact theyve got a lot more displacement than the old ones giving massive power and a broad powerband, phenomenal cars imo.
I havnt been in one yet, the only reason is ive been warned several times the second ive been in one I will be buying one lol

Works and plays on track
I'd love it, having driven a standard one and loved it, I'd have a sticky patch in my pants in that. Best all round car available IMO, yes Porsches are nice too but GTRs are still fine for comfortable daily use and a decent boot for the shopping.

Fair price IMO, you couldn't buy anything in that price bracket that's anywhere near the same league.

If in Doubt Flat Out...
Not a massive fan of the GTR, would rather a modified R34 over that with some cash, or an old classic Ford Mustang or Camaro in mint condition. I have admiration and respect for that car, its just not my cup of tea.

that puts me in a pretty elite group then lol
the one thing ive only just noticed they are still only a 2 + 2 seater like the r32 and r33 I have, I wonder if a 3 seat rear is available ?

I'd imagine he's taking a huge loss selling it that price , I wander how much all that work cost , would make for a brutal road car

Wouldnt say shit, but I do agree with you that the R32 is the Daddy. I had one like the above there years ago, same colour with the vents in the bumper. When I sold it I followed the chap into town and I felt sick I was letting it go.
Never been a fan of the R33 shape, they just went a bit round at the front. Quite strange when you consider it's sandwiched between the R32 and R34 shapes. I have owned an R33 GTR though and it did drive better than the R32. The rear steering on my R32 was a bit scary on bumpy winding roads.

having owned 2 r32s and still own one, and an r33 I can honestly say imo the r33 is a better car just carries a small weight disadvantage, nothing that cant be overcomed with abit more power.
id love an r34 but the same money would buy an r35, and I cant justify the extra id guess £15k - £20k to go same spec as I am now but upto an r34...... no thanks lol
its the engine and transmission I love though big cubes and instant gear changes and in a modern much safer if crashed chassis with the r35, the only other issue is if it breaks will I be able to fix it like I do the older cars ?
me old mans range rover sport shit itself yesterday for some reason oil dripping out and will only just idle with throttle flat out, management light is on so going in to marshalls, that's the only other thing puts me of an r35 is the complexity of it theres a lot to go wrong and a lot of electrics.
