Default Devasted can this be fixed?

Took my carpet out after changing seats and the bolt was just spinning and found this
Can this be fixed both sills rotted right through all the way along?
If it can be fixed how much is it likely too cost?

everything is fixable if you have enough money to spend on it

it took me a month to sort the floor on my sierra working a few hours every day on it

It can be fixed mate, new panels will sort it.

Cost wise I don't know, depends if you get someone to do it the 'right' way if you get my drift. A body shop would charge big.

I would recommend buying the repair panels and buying a half decent gas mig welder from somewhere like machine mart, forget the hobby bottle gas and buy decent and you can learn in no time...that's what I did with no prior welding at all. I suspect you will find more if that bit is like that. Welding is very addictive...I did loads of welding on my classics

That's pretty small that, I'd get the repair panels and attack it yourself either that or put it into a decent body shop but expect to pay big money

How much does the car mean to you and how long do you intend on keeping it? If not much and not long, get it too a college and let them plate it up for next to nothing, if it means more and you intend on keeping it for some time, get a panel and get it welded in place properly, a regular garage should be able to do it for you for not too much, a bodyshop could charge a hell of a lot, but will probs do the best job of it.

I know a lad in durham who might do it but he might have to see the car first.

do a bit of asking round mate and find a decent welder, I would guess that they are more likely to charge a sensible rate than a bodyshop that is going to charge you a whack per hour.

Check out some resto threads and you will see that this is small fries to what some have lurking and get sorted!

you can get all the repair panels for theses, sound like you need a pair of full sills , inner sills and you can get a floor panel that goes from front to back and around half way across the floors that should sort it, dig deep if you pay some one to do it!!! all these panels are on ebay, but some motor factors are cheaper.

So I want the job done properly but not too flush at the mo
An enthusiast locally would be ideal

That looks quite good for a mk 4 which usually are scrap by now due to being rot boxes.
