many people will be thinking why have you fitted a saab turbo engine in! i am a cosworth fan and have owned many of them, but even a true fan has to admit the cosworth engine is dated and shit!! they boil over for no reason, they can be working fine then stop at a shop and never start again!! they have rotor arms and dizzy caps! so did the ARK!!! they leak oil for no reason at all!! so! i decided to change it to a saab 2.0 turbo 300bhp i drove the car it came out of, this has a coil pack!! unhurd of on a cosworth
Well where do I even start with that load of giberish??

A complete and total nob talking utter tripe! He should have just told the truth, that he does not have the skills/money to sort out his Cosworth engine so he stuck something in he got for free in instead. But then he couldn't get that running either. The car looks far from concourse too....

if it was just a sierra build, yes fair play to him id say
but as its a "cosworth" he should have stuck with the motor that was in it even if they are bits of overpriced pig iron when your skint.
Concourse, which bit? lol
i think it`ll fetch about 2.5k maby

The sabb engine is very good dont know why everyone is saying its crap ?
Might not have the same motorsport background as the YB buts its still a very good, strong tuneable engine.

A YB isnt crap if looked after. Does he not know that technology for these engines have moved on.
Imo I think this car will get bought for the shell and someone will put a YB back in it.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
a yb is dated but then again cars are outdated from new development wise compared to bikes/supercars. suffice to say the yb is proven and no more unreliable than any other engine that's been badly put together.i always thought the yb was pretty bullet proof providing its not on its last legs. anyway aside from that the description point toward the seller been a nob head. honesty would have been in his favour

Firstly, I wouldn't buy anything from someone that over uses the "!" so much.
Secondly, I notice the Cossie purists are scoffing at him, because is Sapphire Cosworth doesn't have a YB engine in it. However, if he had a Sapphire, that didn't start life as a Cosworth, but with the full interior, the whole YB and drivetrain, etc etc, he'd still be scoffed at for not having a Cosworth because it doesn't have a "genuine Cosworth shell" on it.

Just because this is the first one dosent make it a bad idea. Theres a few sierras around with non cosworth/ford engines.
Exactly. his advert makes him sound like a mong but he has built a decent car.

Don't see anything wrong with putting a different make engine in a Ford but yes the ad is crap and seems like just a poor excuse for using a "wrong" engine.
I'm not in to Saabs, but some of the turbo engines these Swedes made are really good and strong so might not be bad choice on that matter. I would have probably opted for a Volvo engine tho...
