Do you add a picture and write "Life's short so floor it" on every post you make? Why?

This was my first baby & its a Ford. A 1957 Ford Popular in green all 27bhp of muscle & grunt. Only ever had 5 Fords in 50 years. This one , 100e prefect, Cortina GT, Escort Mk1 & my Cossie. Looking at this car i can see why Fords never floated my boat . It lasted one month before i went up market & spent a years salary on a 100E Prefect that cost Ł220 a fortune back then.

MK4 5DR September 1989 Red 1.3L Escort. Bought September 2001 with around 85,000 miles. I'm sure I paid Ł1,000 for it from a Rover Dealership in a Village I used to live. It was totally standard, spotless with a very slight bit of welding during my ownership.

I sold it to my older brother after buying a French piece of tosh in late 2004, I thought Ł100 sounded fair. Until he promptly rear ended a Micra at 10 MPH, then a couple of months later some twat side rammed him going round a roundabout. The car in question a bloody BMW, with a man in a suit driving it.

I returned to the Ford fold in 2005 in an XR3i D plate Cabriolet i quite fancied, 87,000 miles and the most unreliable car i've owned. My 4th car was my S2 which I bought dec 2006 and still own. I scrapped the XR3i in 2008 after about 1 1/2 years it it not being driven.

I had a 2.0 16v turbo Nova, absolute nightmare to insure as your first car. I bought a second Nova since as well, clearly didn't learn my lesson first time round.

First car was when I was about 13. A pair of fiesta 1.1 popular plus. One red on an A reg and the other Beige on B/ The red one was a rotter apart from wings the beig ne was ok but fucked wings so my dad took them off the red one and onto the beige then painted it and I sold it to a bloke round the corner. Bought and sold quite a few whilst still at school. Had a 205 1.6 gti when I was 16 that my parents didnt know about. I used to drive it round lol. Then first legal car my parents bought me for my 17th was a red d reg orion 16i ghia. I fitted a rs turbo fron bumper and saph cossie rear spoiler and had the windows tinted. Also a peco Dtm exgaust. I thought I was the man back then lol
