hi all
looking for a bit help have a ford capri 1600 trike was running ok then started to splutter under full revs cleaned fuel filters but no better trying to locate carb help appreciated

I would say

Blocked fuel line

No gasket on carb

To much air in

Coil leaking oil ?

Points In distributor

Points in alternater or dirty

Spark plugs not set right


Also try a compression test

I have a 1300 in my daily drive ford Anglia and they are some of the problems I have had in the last month lol .might help also what's the magnet thing that's normally located next to the coil mine stuck .i have had all of these problems the most piss take thing was that I had everything changed and it turnt out to be a blocked fuel line and the at would cut out at high revs in top gear .now it's ok .

Why are you having problems locateing the carb it's the first thing you should see on a xflow
