Default Series 2 what exhaust?

Hi guys as above really,
I've got a series 2 Rs with a standard exhaust system,
My current mods are chipped ecu and a -31 actuator, my question is what size do I go for 2.5 or 3 inch?

Also what's peoples takes on exhausts I'm after something not too loud but sounds and looks nice.
Cheers

I have a 2.5' bore mongoose with the tail pipe cut shorter (by previous owner) and it sounds great. Lovely warble to it.

Did have a scorpion on it before which wasn't quite as loud, but found it droned a bit.

That's awesome! Sounds good too!
What I'm mainly worried about is the size of the exhaust, would it be more beneficial to run a 2.5 inch?

I heard that the 3 inch were for the higher powered turbos?

Don't see the 3 inch systems that often most are 2.5

The standard system will run the power you have no problem, if you did not want to change ,I ran a scorpion years back but it was restricting the cars boost, so I had haywood and scott make a new back box with large internals ,problem cured

That's excellent thanks twins. Is there much to be gained from going to a stainless system?
