bit of a weird problem but annoying

if i use the drop down search for ebay it doesnt work, uknow when u use the drop down icons on the left hand side of the page instead or puttin in what u want in the search bar.

it refreshes the page like its doing the search but then just takes me to the orginal page i was on.

was also the loot website and when i went to email advertiser nothing happends same with if i click on the map for there location.

the only thing i can think it is is a problem with java as i just instealed the new one a few days ago cos i couldnt view the maps on rac raute finder

only just started doing this for the last week or so

anyone had simular problems?

its doing exactly the same on mine, im just going through all the possibilities, and have been for last hour or so.

1stly, have you got all pop up blockers turned off and script blocking disabled in your antivirus/firewall software?

2ndly, download and install this file from microsoft

here

3rdly, ignoring your antivirus software, download this program and do a full system scan

here



try these 1st, and let me know how u get on.

 

as i said it was workin fine the other week then i had to install java and i just put norton firewall on the system then it started doing this but i'll try the things u've listed and see what happends
