Thought the FRS used the MTX75 box with a Quaiffe ATB diff? Always thought these to be fairly sturdy

Do these go right in with no problems or is there anything needed to be changed or modified

it will need a plate making up to mount it mate. I bought one to fit to my mk 1 rs but not had any issues with the mtx75 tbf.

Needs a lot more than just a plate to bolt it up

I always thought these boxes were known to be very strong never heard of issues before. I had a 430hp mk1 rs with the standard box with no issues at all. Used to roast brand new michelin's in 3rd gear on a dry road

I've had the synchros go on 3rd and 4th gear on 3 different focus rs boxes ,flat shift killed one of the boxes after just a few gear changes . Never had bearing or gear problems tho

Probably could be the synchros that's fuck actually he's never really looked proper into it when it's gave him a problem he's really just changed the box ,and it's basically second hand boxed he was buying but all had average miles on them
