the car has to be tuned to tun slightly rich anyhow...as the NOS will need a bit of fuel!!!

Keith
Check it with another gauge and double check all the boost hoses are sealed properly! Also if you are running a dump valve check it isn't leaking. If all that is ok put it down to fitting the new cooler and get it set-up again

keith heres the idiot proof way to sort it
get carb cleaner and spray round boost hoses to check for leaks, then check the boost gauge ( ask max as hes now a expert at checking boost gauges for instalation )
then do not in anyway adjust the the actuator and used the bleed valve to adjust ya boost BUT either way ya gonna have to get steve@SCC to check the fueling anyway so tbh just get him to tweek the bleed valve and set the boost
also rememberboost is measurement of presure NOT flow !!!!!!, its fooking hard to measure flow though with air i keep getting told
its not actually hard tbh but its best toget it set up as ya dont want loads of fuel pissing over ya engine bay due to a DIY set up do ya (max )

PMSL!! There is a major floor in the house!! It's in every room. I even have a concrete one in the garage and a wooden one in the shed!
Major flaw is the term I believe!
Keith. Just get the car set up. If it doesn't feel any slower than before then chances are, if you mess around with it, you will break it!

Keith, the point is, with the new intercooler doing a MUCH better job of cooling the air, 18psi of airflow now will be much more oxygen than 18psi thru the wanky pace, so will in all likelyhood run lean and go pop.
Losing some boost pressure when changing to a bigger cooler isnt uncommon, but 7psi seems a lot.
If you cant see any leaks (inc dumpvalve) then id take it somewhere who can check the fueling when flat out (ie proper lamda sensor), as putting up the boost back to 18psi now you gotta new cooler is asking for trouble i think...
