Default Stiff engine mounts

I see a few people on here using stickoflex or tiger seal on there gearbox mounts. Is this to strengthen the mounts and does it work.Ever since ive put the 2 litre backtop in my mk4 fiesta im getting movement from the rear torque link and im wondering is it the answer to do away with the problem to get a poly bush item or some thing else .

Flo-flex do a dogbone mount kit for the mk4 fiesta. Fits easy and I get virtually no movement in mine now.

Mines a mk4 fiesta, with zetec turbo. If you phone them up, they will tell you what one you need. There's 2 possible sizes for the small end of the mount. You need to check if yours has a nylon outter or metal outter to the little bush... And they will tell you what one you need.

There is some vibration, but within 3 or 4 days if forgotten about it and don't notice it now. But I will say I'm more tolerable with stuff like that as its just a toy car and not a daily!

It's quite easy to spot which it is... The small bush ones with nylon case - have white nylon. I just scraped the bush casing with a screwdriver to see if it was metal or nylon.

This on eGay says that the steel cases ones need 35mm and nylon needs the other size.

I have seen tuners do this, There is nothing wrong with filling an engine mount with tiger seal or sikaflex. People have been doing it for years.

Power flex sell bushes that fill gaps in mounts just like sealant but more expensive.

Honda have done similar aswell.
