Default turbo blankets

anyone used them, are they any good, i fear for the paint on my mk2 escort when the cossie engine is up and running and looking at the outrageous cost of standard cossie heat shields and even the alloy ones i was looking at these blankets as an alternative

They do work, but as with everything there are cheap ones, good ones and bloody expensive ones

ha ha true, on ebay alone there are ones for £30 from hong kong! all the way up to £300+ not from hong kong ha ha

My mate used a £40 one from ebay on his GTX30 and its did the job of keeping everything around it from melting
