Default 2006 focus 1.6 petrol

Hi guys looking for a bit advice! Went out in my wife's car the other day and starting missing and backfiring and the engine management light has come on! It's strange that it's just happened as the car was fine until yesterday any ideas?

Check the core plugs between the spark plugs. I've seen a few rot out causing the recess to fill with coolant.
