scrapping a car that is not in my name??

Question scrapping a car that is not in my name??
right i know a lady that wats a renault espace removing, the v5 is in her name and she wants rid of it as it failed the MOT on rust. she is willing to drop it to my house and my good friend has a trailor!

whats the laws behind this if the V5 is not in my name?

Just sign her name on the v5 when you scrap it that what I use to do

If you call your local auto recycling centre and ask the hypothetical question, they will point you in the right direction mate.

its not a problem as I used to break cars regular just make sure you have a legal paper trail for fall back on if need be
