Default Foolish?

Right I've found myself looking at 3doors and escossies lately, I've had my frs for 6 years now and it's ultra reliable and a great car, before that I had a Saff that I loved too.

My friend has an Elise and as our little ones are not tiny any more we may have time to do some track days this year, which the frs is great for, the older fords, not so much

I'm a bit if a retro ford guy do the 3 door appeals and I have a garage and a daily car but will it feel too old? Bought an rst last year and loved the looks but the drive ....

What should I do?

I'm thinking the same as you mate, escort cosworth or possibly a focus cosworth. Nothing wrong with my frs just sometimes feel like a change. Love the reliability of my focus which I very much doubt il get with a cossie.

Cosworths are reliable when maintained right, but like any car when they go wrong they sting you, mine at 400 seemed bulletproof never caused a single issue

Defo agree about cossies been reliable.

You just have to remember there an old car so they arnt gonna drive/handle as good as modern cars.

I would love an escort cossie myself one day.
