Where do I stand?
(Foolishly) I bought a bonnet from ATM SPORT last November, sent a cheque that got cashed in early december and waited patiently.
Two weeks ago asked Andy where it was and I got "A courier cocked up and I got it back bent, I'll give you a refund, Can You give me your card details please"
I paid by cheque
I've waited another 2 weeks and still no cheque and no reply to e-mails.
How long do I leave it before I knock on his door with a bat in hand?

Write to them and tell them you are giving them 7 days to refund the money or you will be starting small claims proceedings against him. SEND IT RECORDED SIGNED FOR!
Keep every last email you've had, bank statements showing the cheque leaving your account etc. Make a log of all telephone calls (date, minutes etc)
If he doesn't pay up, go here:

and start proceedings. Depending on how much you paid for the bonnet it will be pretty cheap (less than Ł100) - you will get this back when you win, if it goes to court.
It can take a while to get to court, but my betting is that he will fold quicker than Bruce Lee on laundry day and pay up when he gets notice of the small claims case

They were very unhelpful with some brake discs I got at national day last year, and I also bought an Escort rear ARB from them for a friend which turned out to be a sapphire one.
I can't beleive they're still trading TBH
