Default BMW Help

Hi all, its been a long time since i have posted on here, but was the first place i have come for advice

I was going to get a VW passat again but am quite tempted by a 2002 330d BMW? I have read about swirl flap issues but am wondering if there is anything i need to be wary of?

Thanks
Nick

they're cracking driving cars
they do have the swirl flap issue, but you can buy a delete kit for it which is cheap and easy enough to fit
do that and get a remap(with dpf delete if its got 1), and it'll poss be the best diesel car you ever own

J98 FYA,

Hi, is the auto a problem or were u just unlucky?
I imagine more dmf & clutches go than boxes? And at £900 to replace that ain't cheap either

I think im just unlucky! As it was only on 140000 on a 2002! Yeah dmf kits aint cheap! The torques the biggest killer! The later auto boxes the zf 6 speeds are better than the gm 5 thats in most! I think im going to sell mine after this! As I cant go on thinkin when an where its going to go next!
