Default few q's for the pf sprayers

Hi all, this weekend im planning on purchasing all the stuff I need to purchase for painting my s2 so what I want to know is,
How much hi-build/basecoat/clearcoat will I need to give it a nice coat of each?
Any brands I should be looking to get or avoiding? I've used upol primer and clearcoat and de-beers basecoat before, will these be ok?
How much shutz will I need for underside and arches?
I will be using 2k and painting the outside, underside and the bay.
Any input much appreciated
Liam

I'm not a pro just a keen diy sprayer.

You probably know this and have it covered but I'd not spray with the temperature this cold. I have in the past to my cost at getting a white bloom in the paint. Had to strip it and do it again when it warmed up.

You probably know this and have a nice heated garage / workshop. But just saying and potentially saving you a costly mistake.

We're just finishing doing a old Nissan PS13 Resto. I used 12 bottles of gravitex on the underside and all 4 arches. It was etched first, then every seam was sealed up before applying the stonechip. It was then painted in 2k, same colour underneath as it's going on top, RAL7011.

I only factored for 6 and used twice that ! Just didn't cover how I expected but by the time I got it on heavy it started to look as I hoped it would.

We have used Dinitrol for all the cavitys, hopefully it will be looked after now !
