Hi Guys Just starting to tune the GTi now just wondering what the best thing sto do are and what sort of power gains they give. I have a k and n and will sonn be goin for a chip and exhaust so how much power will i gain form these and what else can be done reasonably cheap?

Don't think you'd be looking at more than a realistic 20-30bhp with chip, exhaust, cams and air filter.

 

How about without the cams?

 

A Superchip shows an improvement of:

Escort 1.6 Zetec/1.8 Zetec/1.8 16V +7 bhp @ £293.75

Escort GTi is 1.816v IIRC?

And now I think about it, the 20-30bhp figure may well need some light headwork as well......but Stu or Steve/Rob@SCC would be able to advise better than me.
