Default Toyo R888`s.. Anyone tried `em?

As title, does anyone run with these tyres on their car? A friend of mine has just purchased some as he doesn`t do many miles a year and wanted something that gives loads of grip for when it does leave the garage! lol

So, do any of you rate `em, or hate `em??

Cheers

I've just put a set of the R888s on my track wheels for the 306

A few people have said they are really good.
I'll find out for myself on the 23rd April

I've put a set of these on my Supercharged ST170 a week after buying it and it has transformed the car...

For daily driving they're fine as long as you understand you can't drive hard/fast in standing water wetness.

I'm doing my first trackday with them in October so will let you know how they hold up - but my experience of them on 600+bhp Evos in Time Attack was faultless.

I got mine from Martoon and the price/service was excellent

Bullshit

I run them as everyday tyres on my 911 and ran them on my GTR before that. Also on Sierra and Westy trackcars...

They are fine. They don't like HUGE standing water apparently... but I have never had a problem in wet!

I chose NCT5's over them because I wanted extra grip in the wet.
