Default Transit T280 starting problem!!!

Hi just dont a clutch slave cylinder on a fwd box trannys problem is now when I go to start her up she stalls about 2 seconds after starting its asif the ignition is being cut :s when I reninstalled the box ther was a loom with 3 connections over the top of the gearbox one to the back one to the selector tower than a third plug inbetween the two I cant for the life of me find where it has come from or where it plugs in, im not sure if it was even plugged in to start with but its the only thing I can put it down to!

Has it got a plug on it still, speed sensor?

Take a look at the top of the bell housing and you should see a crank sensor. I am guessing when you pulled the box out you forgot to unplug it and snapped the wires from the plug. This would give you the starting problems your having.

Is the crank sensor plugged in at the back of the engine.

Spot on bit of advise was the crank sensor wiped the top clean off im use to cranksensors being in the engine block, had a spare luckly ford seem to use the same crank sensors on most of therr cars, started staight up woth new one was in a right funny location couldnt see it or feel it until I knew where to look! Once again cheers lads!!!!
