what sort of s1 would you get for 4000
and is it true that they did make 7 black sereis 1
read some topics about series 1 and they keep saying dash boards crack where do they crack and what else to look for on a series 1

 

thought it was 1 black S1, and that was for Princess Di

better off buying a black S2 tho...

 

you shod get a nice car for 4k, one black for princess di factory, they crack by the heater vents, rust.

 

Should get a tidy one for Ł4k or possibly a restored one.

Think there was offical 1 black one, which was done for Dianna.

You will clearly see the dashboard cracks beside the windscreen back towards the cabin - it is where the sun has dried the plastic.

Being a ford look for rust around the battery tray, arches, sills, but also more problematic where structurally a nightmare i.e. chassis rails, etc.
