it does rev to 14k, he just forgot to mention that he had changed the engine to a gsxr1000

what happens when your flat out in 3rd on the limmiter and select 1st gear

I think the gearbox would lock up going from 3rd to 1st before it got that far, but still..

i thought i had done well(or bad realy),
when the data logging showed that i had possibly got a little carried away and changed up at 9200rpm on my saph,
fuck knows how it stayed together, but it did have a bent crank next time it was stripped so dont know if thats why

usually too much heat or shit oil in my experience, and thats a few bent cranks ive binned lol

Reminds of the boy trying to get his box and engine replaced under warranty on his EP3 Type R due to it just shitting itself randomly. They checked the ECU logs and found it peaked at 20k+ rpm after a misplaced gear change.

Needless to say he had to for out for the engine and box etc himself.

It might be possible i had an 1800 pinto that revved to 11k once,just the once mind
Clown probably has a 4 cylinder rev counter fitted

4 cylinder rev counter so may be reving it to 9k ish

i once fixed an escoc with somthing similar, obviously the engine box swap was as expected, but it smashed the back right off the box and launched the rear prob at the tunnel, it made quite a mess, didnt make it thru the trans tunnel, but it certainly wasn't the same shape as it started life
