It's a Genesis shell which uses MK1/2 Escort chassis/ running gear, same as how kit cars get age related no plates!

there is a similar car on turbosport i think, could even be the same one. Has been registered for at least 20 years, and was a clubman rally car according to what i have read.

As said above its a mk2 escort reshelled into a mk3, hence the id.
