Oil burning Problem? Help
In need of some advice, my 2.0 fiesta si is burning a shit load of oil from max to min in about 2 weeks.
Now here is where the confusion starts I've done a compression test (wet and dry) and all the cylinders are 150psi ish so shows my rings and valves are ok
The guy who had the car before me stated he had the head rebuilt with new everything including stem seals.
But what's really confusing me is the spark plugs are super clean and a good colour so how can i be burning so much oil and it not show on them? Anyone with any advice on what it could be to by pass the cylinders?? Maybe the EGR? would of thought there would be performance symptoms with that but it's running great.
Thanks

Just had to replace the sump on my daughter's Kent engined Fiesta, the sump had rusted through at the front and it was drinking oil like nobody's business. Should help stop the underneath rotting away.

May be a dodgy or split stem seal, as it may not be entering the combustion chamber and just flowing out the exhaust
