Default Trickle chargers...

...talk to me.

Wanting to lay up my E46 M3 over the winter and would quite like to stick it on trickle charge, using a fit and forget type device on the battery without removing it from the car.

What do you lads use??

got a decent one on my r33 gtr, 2 or 4 amp charge setting just stays in the boot all the time fixed to the battery.
just cable out of boot and plug it in when I park up.
il check make and model when I get the car out next for ya

i have ring type which conditions old batteries and is not just a trickle charger
you can get them from screwfix

What if you haven't got power to the garage? Are the solar ones any good?

Got a 90 odd pound one on my bike and a 10 pounds halfords one on my saff they both do the same job! Halfords one has been on my saff for about 3 years with out fault
