im toying with the idea of building a n/a 2.0 zvh next winter for my mk3 xr3i as i want to keep under the bonnet looking as stock as possible as would like to display it at some classic car shows etc, what power do you recken can be got from one of these would like to see 150bhp maye with a decent cam and bigvalve/gas flowed head .anyone been down this road before??

If you want to keep it looking original keep it CVH, otherwise go full Zetec and bung it on bike carbs, makes for a proper screamer.

I don't think you'll really see the gains from it being a ZVH, as above keep it CVH or go Zetec. A big spec CVH on carbs sounds naughty.

was consider some head work and some r6 carbs,what are they like on fuel??

stay full cvh, its the head that restricts them anyhow, so going n/a zvh wont realy help much,
if your going for bike carbs then its not going to look stock anyhow
