Anyone else get asked odd/funny questions about their cars when you're out and about?
Just been to put some fuel in the Cossie, got nattering to a guy in the petrol station, he asked the usual questions, "Is it a real one?" " How long have you had it?" Blah blah, but then he asked "Why is it so clean?" lol, possibly because I cleaned it lol.
Had another guy ask "Does it run ok?" Yes thanks lol
And someone else asked " Is it Phat?" I really didn't know how to answer that lol.
Any other weird questions you've been asked?

Had a bloke telling me once when I was out in mine that he had 1 of the first escort cossies when they came out, the RWD ones.............

Karl i went to pic my son up from work the other day popped in to let him know I was there when i came out there was a crowd around my taxi of around 15 people
fuck knows why but there were some young lads from the company opposite asked my what a cosworth was and was this one 
and others knew what it was ! my son came out of work and we fucked off sharpish I hate all that shit

I never get asked anything, just told things. Some things I've heard in the petrol station for court.
"my mate had one with 400bhp", "you should put a diesel gearbox in that", "put a cossie turbo on it and you'll see 250bhp stock" , "I used to steal these for a living"

i used to get the whole, i used to have an xr2 thing, don't see many about etc.
should have got an erst, they're faster....not sure on that opinion lol!

I always get asked "Is it a 500?"
I reply "Nope just a 3 door"
Then they say "So its a rep then"
At which point I mumble "Cunt" under my breath and walk off
The other favorite I get is soon as they see it they say;

The strangest one ive been asked is how did you get a focus rs in 5 door? I replied i imported it from japan.
It has the st170 badge on the back bearing in mind and they were stood at the back of the car!!
