s2 problems

Default s2 problems

Hi all I have bit of a problem with my s2 turbo an was woundering if someone can hopefully point me in the right direction its a starting problem the car starts for few seconds then cuts out an wont start again unless I push the metering unit flap down then it fires straight up any ideas??

Check the solid breather pipe that passes round the back of the engine to the metering unit. Have seen these damaged and cause all sorts of problems

Be the metering head mate so it's a new one or ditch it for an efi setup

I have a spair so al try it after ive checked that pipe could it just be a sensor or need setting up because when its worm it starts fine

Ive checked the pipe round the back of the engine an its fine an ive also swoped the metering unit but its still the same it just runs abit longer when I 1st start it I dont know what to do with it next
