Default Cosworth rattle/tap

Need abit of advise after a rebuild had new crank and 4 new sleeves ect car runs spot on but once warm it gets a rattle sounds like top end rattle/tapping so fitted oil pressure gauge and from cold I'm getting around 50psi and when warm iv seen it drop under 20psi and I'm sure I see it nearly as low as 10psi what could cause this it's doing my head in could oil pump be failing when warm the engine runs perfect from cold any help welcome

Did have 10/40 but changed to 20/50 but still the same maybe abit quieter but tbh haven't run it a lot as don't want to damage it

id go 10-50 with the oil m8 something fuchs pro s or miller 10-50

i dont think its your oil either, whats sump/ oil pickup does it have fitted? or anything else thats been done? and was it a self build?

its strange that the pressure drops when getting hotter and the ticking sound id say is where your lifters are running dry, maybe something expanding when hot and blocking the oil from going where it needs to?

did you use any gasket sealant on the sump? if so did you use an excessive amount as your only supposed to spread a thin layer as it can come off inside the sump and cause a block

You should be seeing 60+ psi cold dropping to 30 once hot mines done 90k and still is near these figures.
