Default Bit of advice

Basically I am after a toy to put in the garage. Garage will only house fiesta as it's square so although very wide not very deep and my bench tool box etc soon takes up some space. I have had 6 xr2i over the years and couple of escort rs turbos. But always wanted an fiesta xr2 or fiesta rs turbo. So my problems lys
I have 3k max budget. And looking at getting. Either
Xr2 zetec powered on bike carbs.
Or
Fiesta rs turbo

I think my budget would stretch to getting either
Ideally wanting good spec car to start with but what would you choose?

I would go turbo simply because more power is easily available, not much you can do with a little cubes na without spending ££££ for any meaningful results imo.

Mk2 XR2 with Zetec on bike carbs, so much fun and so raw to drive. This was my mates old one that was sadly written off when a twat drove into him on a roundabout

But then I love Fiesta RS Turbo's as well, regret letting my ex talk me into selling my old one. Loved that car, was more reliable and cost less than my ex too.

I'd go for a Fiesta Turbo myself, really liked the one I had and would rather have kept that instead of buying my Cossie.

They're like any cars of that ilk now though, finding good examples for reasonable money is getting harder and harder by the day!
