Can anyone guide me how to track down a car for my mate, he's after a family members xr2 and has asked the dvla who is now the registered keeper, they have told him its still registered but not scrapped but that's all they can tell him, they advised him to fill out a v888 form to which he did, they've now sent it back stating its against data protection to share this information etc etc, I'm guessing the only way to find this information is through an unorthodox method has anyone got any ideas? I have done a tax check and it says unlicensed since feb 2005 so doesn't look too hopeful... cheers in advance
